Hi! I'm Alejandro. I'm a program manager who loves using AI and automation to simplify complex work and lead projects effectively. I blend technical and management skills; I can code and do quantitative work, but I also manage difficult interpersonal situations with poise to keep projects on track. Recently, by weaving AI into how I plan and execute projects, I help teams collaborate smoothly, keep everyone aligned, and minimize uncertainty. At heart, I thrive when organizing chaos into clarity, constantly seeking sharper ways to deliver impactful, actionable insights to maintain forward momentum. Years ago (c. 2014-2018), I helped scale a "Moneyball"-style system that blended statistics and machine learning to score public company executives on their financial performance. That experience introduced me to semantic search algorithms—simple by today's standards but profoundly influential for my career. I began at Morgan Stanley. I deeply enjoyed the world of finance, but I also realized the future was building software. Since then, software has continued "eating the world" like Marc Andreessen predicted; now Gen AI will eat [transform] that world. My fascination with technology started as a boy in El Salvador in the 90s. We couldn't afford a computer, yet my dad gathered floppy disks, certain that computers would be valuable someday. I'm still amazed by how he knew, but it gave me a sense of possibility. Technology opened so many doors for me that once felt locked. Building products for others is the purest form of problem-solving. Each lesson I learn along the way, I dream of sharing with my daughter, hoping she'll create bigger, better things than I ever could. Outside work, I run and lift weights, and explore the world with my wife and daughter. Years ago, painting gave me peace; today, that same creative energy drives my professional life.
