About Alejandro Salgado

I'm an Industrial Engineer with over 25+ years of experience in the IT sector, combining technical expertise with a deep commitment to supporting mission-driven organizations. As the founder of iXiam, based in Barcelona, I lead a team specialized in developing digital solutions for NGOs, public institutions, and international organizations. We work closely with clients to help them optimize their operations, manage relationships more effectively, and scale their impact through open-source technologies. We are long-time experts in CiviCRM, having implemented and customized it for organizations across Europe and beyond. We also offer Civi-Go, our fully managed SaaS platform for CiviCRM, providing a secure, user-friendly, and maintenance-free experience. Our team also builds custom solutions on Drupal and WordPress, ranging from public websites and intranets to accreditation systems and internal platforms. We are proud to collaborate with organizations such as Médecins Sans Frontières, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Amnesty International, and various UN agencies. With a distributed team working in different countries, we combine global reach with local understanding, always putting technology at the service of people and positive change.
