About Aleksander Burd

Analog electronics is my passion and professional job. I like to design the electronics, especially analog parts. After many years of practice I have real and reach experience in that area. It gives me satisfaction and opportunity to pick up serious design goals. I've cooperated with many companies, like: 1. Space Research Center "Analog part of spectrometer" 2. Military Academy of Technology "Receiver for long distance laser meter" 3. Czaki Thermo-product temperature regulator" 4. Net research domain reflectometer to measure parameters of subscriber DSL line" and others. Despite of mentioned important commercial projects I've designed few hundreds of real and working devices like- active oscilloscope probes - oscilloscope time bases and trigger circuits (over 20 variants with different aprooaches)- pulse generators with tunnel and step recovery diodes (up to 40ps rise time)- VCO generatos (up to 400MHz)- own idea LC oscillators - fast transistor sampling circuit Another important part of my professional career is didactic. I like to teach my students at every level: from basic theory of transistors/circuits operation to designing sophisticated electronic equipment. I try to focus on practice skills which are useful and important in professional approach: from schematic on paper, through simulation, real PCB design to physical realization, launching and testing designed device.
