Dr. Aleksander Olech is the Head of International Cooperation at Defence24 Group, where he leads strategic initiatives, fosters key global partnerships, and serves as Editor-in-Chief of Defence24.com. He is a distinguished lecturer at both national and international universities, sharing his extensive expertise in international relations and security studies. As a NATO associate, analyst, and publicist, Dr. Olech plays an active role in shaping debates and policies on global defence and diplomacy. In his previous position as Deputy Director of the Department of Africa and the Middle East at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he contributed to the development of regional strategies and influenced the course of international relations. In recent years, he has collaborated with several NATO Centres of Excellence, including the NATO Energy Security COE in Vilnius, NATO StratCom COE in Riga, NATO CCD COE in Tallinn, and NATO COE DAT in Ankara. Through these partnerships, he focuses on strengthening security measures, advancing strategic communications, countering terrorism, and promoting innovation in defence technologies. Dr. Olech holds degrees from the European Academy of Diplomacy and the War Studies University, specialising in Franco-Russian relations, hybrid warfare, and NATO security policy.
