Background

About Aleksandra Bromfield

I've worked in the software industry for 14 years. My work has been primarily focused in two areas: developer experience (including compilers, static analyzers, core libraries, and large-scale changes to existing codebases), and site reliability engineering (including monitoring/alerting, intent-based configuration, high- and low-level performance optimization, and general architecture design/evolution).At core, I'm a generalist. If I have a specialty, it's quickly learning how an existing system works and finding opportunities for improvement. I'm also passionate about helping others grow, thrive, and magnify their own impact. Sometimes, this takes the form of mentoring and sponsoring junior teammates. Other times, it's through improvements to developer infrastructure or production systems that enable coworkers to do their jobs more quickly and easily.
