Ales is experienced executive with more than 25 years of experience in general management, setting strategy, business development and sales, experienced in working in complex matrix organisations. He served 20 years for IBM in multiple executive positions, including IBM General Manager/CEO positions in Czech Republic, Turkey and Poland & Baltics, Vice-president System Hardware IBM Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) division, Vice-president General Business & Industries IBM CEE responsible for sales of complete IBM portfolio (Hardware, Software and Services, approx. 2.0 Billion USD revenue), covering Russia and CIS countries, Turkey, Poland, Baltics, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and South East Europe countries. Ales has an extensive experience working in the complex and diverse environment in terms of languages, legal frames and cultural differences. He is passionate about winning and nurturing clients relationships, effective communicator, experienced in building winning, engaged and motivated teams and creating organisational capability, focused on continuous performance improving through influencing people and developing talent. Experienced in public appearances, media and influencers’ briefings and C-Level forums presentations. Ales has an experience with managing P&L in matrix organization (across countries and lines of business). He has strong focus on integrity and compliance as the top business enabler. Aleš holds a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering (aircraft technology). He has the passion for flying, Private Pilot License (PPL) holder.
