About Alessandra Serrano

My core philosophy: technology should amplify human creativity, not replace it. Applied mathematics graduate turned AI engineer building agentic systems that enhance human potential. During Spring 2025, I completed my Data Analytics Fellow at COOP where I collaborated closely with peers on real-world projects. My data analytics fellowship sparked a realization: I craved intense collaboration over pure analytics. This led me to search for something else, and I discovered AI agents brewing in the tech scene. A perfect storm that made me pivot this summer. Wondering who was building in this space, I found my answer in hackathons. Projects I've collaborated on include real-time RAG systems for financial intelligence and multiagent platforms that democratize complex workflows. Growing up in NYC taught me to find balance in chaos: juggling parenting with pursuing my career goals while carving out moments for running half marathons and drawing. I bring this same ability to swim through complexity and stay centered to building AI systems that solve real problems in our messy, beautiful world.
