About Alessandro Devoto

Motivated and experienced QA Lead Engineer with 10 years of experience in testing and destroying software like websites, iOS/Android Mobile apps, REST APIs, gRPC and graphQL services. I have experience leading QA teams, setting up processes, recruiting talents and pushing for a quality driven software engineering culture. I enjoy working with different variations of agile methodologies in multidisciplinary teams and developing myself with online resources. In my pre-QA times, I worked mostly in marketing related projects. I focused in market research using quantitative and qualitative research methods like on-site and phone surveys (e.g: SERVQUAL methodology), focus groups and in-depth interviews. I have experienced using the output of such researches to create customer profiles or market segments through statistical analysis (e.g: Cluster Analysis). Understanding human behaviour is still of great interest for me even today and I still use a lot of my learnings and market research approaches to shape software and organizational processes as a QA engineer.
