About Alessandro Mancuso

I graduated in Computer Science and Technology and joined the banking sector where I've held various roles, working in the Customer Data Management Department. In this capacity, I focused on ensuring data quality, performing technical analysis and implementations using tools like Oracle, UNIX, and IBM InfoSphere Datastage. I also engaged in data modeling using Erwin and contributed to projects management, translating business requirements into technical features. I was a Project Manager in the Recovery Resolution Plan at the Data Service Hub Office. My role involved overseeing regulatory projects and developing technological processes and infrastructures across on-premises, Hybrid, and Cloud environments. These initiatives aimed to provide essential data for reports sent to the ECB and execute economic 'Default' simulations, incorporating 'Dry Run' sessions and the application of the bail-in resolution as outlined in the Bank's Playbook. Furthermore, I was responsible for establishing a calculation engine on GCP's PaaS infrastructure using innovative Cloud platform services. Currently, I work on the Journey to Cloud project, which focuses on migrating data and processes from on-premises to Google Cloud. Specifically, I handle the data ingestion process for legacy on-premises systems, where the data is stored in GCP, as well as the entire Data Visibility process applied to the cloud data.
