About Alessandro Nicola

Alessandro Nicola, graduated in Architecture at the Politecnico di Torino in 2003, in 2010 specialized in the Scuola di Specializzazione in "Storia, Analisi e Valutazione dei Beni Architettonici e Ambientali” of the Politecnico di Torino. He has participated in many restoration projects such as the Wage Tomb restoration project in 1992 (Fayum, Egypt) and Ramesse II in 2003 (King valley, Luxor, Egypt). After joining Nicola Restauri as a consultant he partecipated to the restoration of the Convent of San Bernardino in Chivasso in 2003-2005, of Palazzo Madama in Turin in 2005-2008, of Teatro Carignano 2007-2009, together with the Studio Trucco and Buratti Fagnola studio, plans the restoration of San Giorgio al Borgo Medievale in Turin 2006-2012, along with 5 + 1AA, AI studio and Studio Dedalo the restoration of the Orsini castle in Rivalta since 2009 and together with the studio Isola Architetti, in M.C.M. and the Durbiano and Reinerio studio, the restoration project of Palazzo Salmatoris in Cherasco 2011-2015, was also a VGM consultant for the restoration of the Sheik Suleyman mosque in Istanbul 2012-2016. Since 2004 he has been working as a technical manager at Nicola Restauri s.r.l. Since 2006 he has been member of the board of Nicola Restauri s.r.l. He partecipated with the municipality of Asti for the Leonardo Project Leonardo for the standardization of the legislation on the restoration of cultural heritage in Europe since 2007. Since 2010 he has been vice-president of the Le Muse cultural volunteering association. Since 2012 she is a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cuneo. Since 2014 he has been a member of the China Italy Museum League as a consultant for restoration. Since 2016 he has been partnering with ONE MA3, a project for MIT in Boston, USA, for which he was organizer and speaker.
