About Alessandro Pecora

I am an AI Researcher and Data Scientist with a strong passion for technology, innovation, and understanding cognitive processes. After earning my Master’s degree in Data Science & Engineering, I started my career in the industry as an AI consultant and data scientist, developing solutions based on deep learning, NLP, and advanced language models for business optimization and data analysis. This experience allowed me to face the challenges of large-scale implementation and gain a deep understanding of the real-world value of AI technologies. Later, I pursued a research path at Politecnico di Torino as a research fellow, focusing on artificial intelligence applied to computer vision. Today, through my Ph.D, I am dedicated to studying memory models for virtual agents, exploring how AI can draw inspiration from cognitive neuroscience to enhance adaptability and realism in human interactions. In my work, I combine research and development, striving to create solutions that are not only innovative but also practically applicable. I have experience in developing deep learning and NLP models, data engineering on cloud infrastructures, and designing AI systems across various domains, from computer vision to generative models. I believe in the transformative potential of artificial intelligence and its role in reshaping the future of technology.
