About Alessandro Sciarpelletti

I began my career in advertising, where I quickly developed a passion for new and alternative media—discovering that the real magic lies in blending diverse channels and narratives. Since 2009, I’ve been at the forefront of social media innovation in Italy, helping launch some of the country’s first brand campaigns in the space. In 2016, I joined We Are Social, where I’ve had the privilege of partnering with iconic global brands such as Ferrari, Ceres, Netflix, Lavazza, ITA Airways, Vodafone, Samsung, and Stellantis. Over the years, my work has been recognized with more than 100 awards from some of the world’s most prestigious creative festivals, including Cannes Lions, D & AD, the New York Festivals, Clio Awards, and the Art Directors Club Italiano. Today, I lead the marketing department at Ogyre, a startup committed to protecting the oceans and advancing the circular economy. I focus on amplifying Ogyre’s mission through strategic communication, raising awareness about marine conservation, and helping our brand partners effectively share their sustainability commitments. The company has recently reached break-even and has been recognized with several national and international awards, highlighting the strength of its model and its growing impact.
