Hi I’m Alessandro!I’m young, ambitious, energetic and determined! I love travelling, meeting new people, building relationships and I’m a gym fanatic! So far, I have lived in 6 countries and travelled to more than 40, but my goal is to double the number of countries visited in the next ten years!I am a natural optimistic person, and I try to transmit my energy to all the people I interact with, because ‘optimists are the ones who change the world’.I've a bachelor's degree in economics (106/110) and a master's degree in economics - management, curriculum in International Business (110/110). During my university career, I won several Erasmus scholarships that allowed me to study and live in Romania, Lithuania, Spain, Colombia and Italy. In addition, during my master's degree I did my master-thesis research on the financial sector in Colombia, specifically on the internalisation process of the Spanish Bank BBVA in South America. This research allowed me to live in Colombia and acquire extensive knowledge of the financial and banking sector in Colombia, as well as a global and specific understanding of LATAM markets. During my studies I had the opportunity to do a six-month internship at UBS Luxembourg. During my time at UBS, I developed analytical and risk management skills by working in the asset servicing department, particularly I onboarded new clients (institutional clients or UHNWC Ultra High Net Worth Clients) by conducting the respective AML / KYC procedures. During my internship I worked also on the CS - UBS merge, particularly by working on client data migration from Credit Suisse's archive to UBS's legal archive system.These experiences taught me to work in international environments, be able to relate to people, respect strict deadlines, have great attention to details and succeed in working in team, because ‘working together means winning together’!Let’s connect and share our ideas!
