I am passionate, determined and hardworking - fully committed to forge a career in the legal sector.I am a recent graduate of The University of Sydney, completing a degree in Laws and Commerce, majoring in Marketing, as well as a Master of Laws. I am a hard worker who strives to achieve high standards across all areas of my work. This is seen as I held a distinction average in my degrees, with top rankings in some of my units. I was also fortunate enough to be awarded an ATAR of 99.65 and First in the State for one of my HSC courses.My indisputable passion lies in my willingness to empower others and to seek justice. This has become my moral imperative which I believe is critical in allowing me to make a real difference and positive contribution within my community and the wider world.I have realised such goals within the legal sector through my development of strong advocacy skills as a volunteer paralegal at Toongabbie Legal Centre, where I communicated with clients and liaised with solicitors to deal with complex legal matters. Further, I have been able to strengthen my skills of positive work ethic, critical thinking and motivation through working as a Paralegal and Summer Clerk at Clayton Utz.My colleagues, teachers and friends describe me as a leader with a strong enthusiasm for collaboration and diligence. This is seen as I was appointed Vice Captain of Parramatta Marist High where my love of guiding, directing and listening to others became pertinent. Also, I had the privilege of being a keen participant of Project and Problem based learning, as well as the Flipped Classroom pedagogy, that my school instigated. This sparked my ability to excel in team environments, learn from others and develop my creative thinking.As my skills continuously evolve, I seek out new opportunities to further my skills and professional development. Specifically, I aim to develop skills that will equip me for practice in commercial law, and I look forward to working in a collaborative and challenging workplace of the 21st century, which will bring out the best of my skills and abilities.
