About Alessandro Tarantini

SInce February 2015 Alessandro is a Senior Consultant in OST Energy. He is managing several international projects in the Renewable and Energy efficiency Sector. Alessandro worked for MWH S.p.A. for eight years as a Project Engineer, as a Project Manager and then as the Business Line Manager of the Energy Business Unit in Milan office. He acted as the delegate for the Sector Group Manager in managing operation and marketing among the Business Line Team, being responsible for gross profit and backlog among the Business Line Team, planning and managing the resources workload within the Business Line Team. He was also responsible for the implementation of technical/knowledge strategy within the Business Line Team. During his work experience Alessandro was involved and lead several projects for international clients and international funding institutions as independent technical advisor. In the power generation sector, Alessandro has been completing technical due diligence, feasibility studies, basic design for project optimization in Italy but also in Eastern Europe (Russia, Kazakhstan Ukraine, Romaine, etc.) for several CHP plant. In the renewable sector, he completed several technical due diligences for the evaluation of Biomass, Biogas, and PV projects, including also the construction of a thin-film solar production line. For some of the projects above, Alessandro, as lender engineer, completed the monitoring of the construction and operation of the plants. Alessandro carried out several energy efficiency audits for energy intensive plants such as cement factories, pharmaceutical plants, sugar plant, steel plants etc. Alessandro developed energy efficiency measures, mainly focused on cogeneration and on all the auxiliary systems of the plants for important multinational clients.
