About Alessandro Vezzi
I became interested in Molecular Biology during high school, reading a journal that described plasmids and recombinant DNA. Being a very curious person, this interest of mine eventually became my job. Starting with my dissertation, I began working in the field of genomics, both of prokaryotic and eukaryotic organisms, with an eye toward laboratory activities and protocols. In recent years I have extended my expertise in the field of ecological microbiology, approaching phantom terms such as metagenomics and metatracriptomics, applied to samples from brackish and Antarctic environments.
