About Alessia Schmid

Alessia is a Swiss/Italian national with over 15 years of diversified business experience, mainly as a Swiss and International Attorney-at-Law. Sharing the entrepreneurial spirit of her clients, she launched her first law firm in 2019, after several years of collaboration with leading firms in Geneva. In 2021, she has founded the boutique law firm ATHENA with four other partners. Alessia has developed a substantiate expertise in identifying, evaluating and mitigating risks as a business and tax advisor for entrepreneurs, startups, international companies’ group and family offices. She was recognized as the Swiss Tax Lawyer of the Year by Lawyer Monthly and her peers in 2020. She is currently serving as member of the Tax and Financial Commission of the Geneva Bar Association, various Associations’ Committees and vice-chairwoman of a charitable organization. Alessia is also a partner in Terra Mater Renewables Investments AB, a Swedish ESG investment company in green energy production, organic food and recycling, using circular energy systems. Alessia obtained a private pilot license (PPL-Airplane) and is currently the President of the Flying Club Association in Prangins (Vaud, Switzerland). Spoken French, English and Italian.
