About Alessio Moiso

When I'm asked to describe myself, the very first thing that I say is:"I am a software engineer". These five simple words sum up 90% of my life. Passionate about anything electronic since when I was a little boy, I've worked hard to refine a passion and transform it into a real job. I started learning how to write small programs in AppleScript when I was 10, then I switched to AppleScript Studio in less than a year. Together with my father, we put up a small non-profit company to build freeware, in 2006. The very same company, InerziaSoft, has made the big step to commercial products in 2012, also thanks to my contributions on some apps for macOS. In 2014, InerziaSoft started a collaboration with the Port of Savona, the birthplace of the company and mine too, for various Web applications, on which I started working officially in 2015, not counting occasional collaborations that I made before. Today, I handle various projects in the company and I am the main developer of some of the core technologies that are used across multiple products. Anyway, even though I love the web, my vocation is apps: mobile or desktop, I love to bring powerful technologies into the hands of people. The strong influence of my experience on the web has allowed me to become even more motivated to make pixel-perfect, stunning, and super-easy-to-use mobile apps that let people do great things on the go.
