Background
About Alex Abbott Boyd
Seasoned entrepreneur with a passion for great food and drinks. I'm a Certified Sommelier and founded Insider Wine to champion small wine producers from around the world in Ontario. Insider Wine's customers include the LCBO, Toronto's top restaurants and bottle shops, and private collectors. Prior to Insider Wine, I founded Cocktail Crate, an organic cocktail mixer business and steered it through scaling nationally in the US and then through acquisition. Along the way, I built, launched, and iterated on dozens of products and sold to most major retailers in the US including Walmart, Kroger, Safeway, Target, Publix, and Whole Foods. I am also a former management consultant and University of Chicago economics grad.
