About Alex Abraham

Greetings! My name is Alexander Abraham, and I am a motivated and driven professional from Uniontown, Pennsylvania, with a passion for information technology and computer science. I began my academic journey in the Laurel Highlands Public School System and graduated from Laurel Highlands Senior High in 2013. During my time there, I played football for four years and captained the team in my senior year. After graduation, I gained experience in a variety of industries, taking up odd jobs until discovering my passion for electronics and computers. In 2016, I embarked on an electrician's apprenticeship, where I learned valuable skills that I still apply today. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I was unable to pursue my college education at the time, which would have allowed me to advance my career in the electrical trade. Undeterred, I sought new challenges and began working in the oil pipeline industry. There, I developed my skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and attention to detail, all of which are transferable to the field of information technology. After two years in the oil pipeline industry, I realized that I wanted to pursue my passion for IT and computer science, and I enrolled in Westmoreland Community College to earn my Associates Degree. Currently, I am a year away from completing my degree, and I hold a Comptia A+ Certificate, PA Property & Casualty license,Google IT Professional Certificate, which certifies my knowledge in IT support fundamentals. Throughout my academic journey, I have worked full-time jobs and undertaken coursework simultaneously, which has honed my time-management skills and taught me the importance of discipline and perseverance. I am excited to leverage my experience and education to make a positive contribution to the field of information technology. I am a proactive learner, dedicated to expanding my skills and knowledge, and I am always eager to take on new challenges.
