About Alex Baines
Originally from the UK, I have spent over a decade travelling around the world and working in the wine industry. After 2 years in Western Australia, I then moved to the Niagara region in Canada in September 2012. At the beginning of 2016 I moved to the Central Otago region in New Zealand to learn more about Pinot Noir and biodynamics. I then went to California to further my knowledge of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and biodynamic viticulture. Since 2017, I have been back in Niagara to continue my career in the wine industry and my pursuit of organic Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
