About Alex Ball

After graduating High School I decided to join the Air Force. It taught me very valuable lessons about myself and life in general. Once I separated in late 2013 I concentrated on readjusting to civilian life. I worked at Value City Furniture delivering and building furniture for a few months. After a workplace injury I decided to go into a different field. Eventually found my way into Nordstrom in mid 2014. I started off doing cleaning and maintenance work in the Dayton store. A year later I got a second job at GameStop, just because I play video games as a hobby and knew the product, but that was just a 5 month seasonal position. I was in the cleaning and maintenance department of Nordstrom for 5 years before being hired into the Loss Prevention Department as a uniformed door greeter. After 9 months they promoted me to an Agent and I took the position at the Cincinnati store. After 6 months at the Cincinnati store I was promoted to Assistant Merchandise and Inventory Manager back at the Dayton store. In August of 2021 I decided to go into commission sales and started working for Morris at their Ashley HomeSale Dayton Mall location in Miamisburg.
