About Alex Barrett

As a Recruitment Advisor at Dentons, the world's largest global law firm, I specialise in hiring lateral Partners for the UK, Ireland, and the Middle East regions. I work alongside a fantastic team that cares about the candidate journey, partnering with the business, and creating a seamless process to recruit and onboard top legal talent. I have a strong background in law and human resources, having graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Otago and a Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from the Southern Institute of Technology. I am also admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand. I have developed and maintained strong relationships with the internal hiring Partners and Managers, consulting with them to understand their needs and expectations. I am curious, positive, and passionate about connecting with people and advancing their interests in the communities where we live and work.
