About Alex Berardi

I am not one to cry easily, but the one thing that consistently gets the tears flowing is watching people perform. I have a passion for creativity and love helping fellow visionaries realize their dreams. In 2015 I completed my Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Georgia Gwinnett College. My first job out of college provided me experience in play therapy and alternate forms of communication for neurodiverse students as a teacher at The Hirsch Academy. I was tasked with creating age appropriate curriculum based on the principles of presuming competence. The skills I learned at Hirsch have followed me into each new path I've taken since - connection, relationship and presuming competence. As a former teacher and summer camp counselor, I am fun-loving, supportive, and always down for a good laugh. My experience includes teaching preschoolers and neurodiverse students ages 5-19, working closely with the marketing and digital department with Atlanta United FC to coordinate events and produce content. In addition, I developed a program called Connections Collective to work alongside my students in developing various forms of content media. My passion has always been acting and since elementary school I continued to train in acting and voice. My theatre credits include like The Lion, The Witch, & The Wardrobe and Beauty & the Beast. I have been working on student and low budget films since 2018. I am currently working on developing my own projects and working with eLearning companies as a voiceover artist to create accessibility in online courses.
