I’ve worked in the ‘advertising industry’ for 14 years – for the longest time in London but also in Toronto and New York. I started at AMV BBDO and I’m back there now. I’ve helped rebrand Norwich Union to Aviva, helped Guinness take their first steps post ‘Good Things Come to Those Who Wait’, and helped BT launch their first ever fibre broadband BT Infinity. I’ve made a Super Bowl spot for Blackberry; campaigns to normalise electric cars and I’ve helped make male incontinence a conversation, not a secret. I’ve led successful pitches for Virgin Atlantic & Virgin Holidays and Macmillan Cancer Support. I started knowing nothing and I’m still learning. It’s sometimes hard, sometimes fun, always interesting – and that’s why I still do it 14 years later. Finding the balance to be a good husband to my amazing Canadian wife and a good father to Hugo & Jack while still being good at what I do.
