About Alex Bornstein

As a seasoned Integrated Circuit Test Engineer with a Master’s in Applied Physics, I bring over a decade of experience in research and production settings. My background spans multiple engineering disciplines including electrical, process control, and mechanical design. My core competencies are test development, data acquisition and analysis, analog electronics, PCB design, CAD, 3D printing, and continuous improvement methodologies. Having led test and cost reduction projects, I am adept at efficiently and effectively solving complex problems to allow more advanced products, with better reliability, at reduced cost. My work has consistently focused on enhancing product quality and process efficiency and I have been involved at all stages: from the initial stages of the design process, past release and through the products’ lifetime. Beyond the semiconductor industry, I am deeply passionate about sustainability and renewable energy technologies. I am eager to leverage my technical adaptability and problem-solving skills to contribute to the renewable energy sector or adjacent industries, where I believe my experience in engineering and data-driven decision-making can drive impactful advancements. I would like to leverage my experience in test and production to help design products that are highly manufacturable, reliable, and optimized for both performance and cost efficiency.
