Alex Breingan is Managing Director of TV Production Company, Stripe Studios & Media and a finals judge for The EMMY Awards. Alex is creator and Executive Producer of several original format series for Netflix, TVNZ, NBC SKY, and Discovery, working with the New Zealand Film Commission on a number of these productions. He is co-founder of NZ free-to-air TV network CHOICE TV, which was acquired by Discovery Inc in 2019. Alex began his career in the mid-90s in UK commercial radio, and later as a producer at the BBC working with Jools Holland, before moving to NZ in 2002. Alex has a BA in Politics and Philosophy from Durham University
