About Alex Britton

My name is Alex, I am working towards an Associates in Science degree for Health and Fitness. I will graduate from Globe University in September 2013. I have been interested and invested in fitness for many years and value the benefits it has for any person looking to live a healthy lifestyle. I am devoted to train and educate clients in safe and effective ways to build a healthy exercise program for a healthy lifestyle. I have taken classes that allow me to reach a variety of clients such as: special populations for geriatric clients; exercise physiology and analysis to properly asses clients and create training plans; and a basic nutritious and sports nutrition to better understand how proper nutrition plays an important role in the benefits of exercise. Since July 2013, I have been interning at a new gym in Woodbury called Red Line Fitness. Upon starting my internship at this fun, new gym, I have started planning and developing my personal class with my boss called "Spec Ops." I will be teaching this to clients to build speed, stamina, and most importantly strength and power.
