I've been shooting and streaming video for the last 20 years and involved with radio, film, audio, & video with a healthy dose of IT & networks for over 30. I have had the pleasure & stress to live stream events from all over the world, to all over the world, for various sized audiences from the 10’s of viewers to Millions and simulcasting across multi-platforms. Qualified A2 CofC Drone Pilot & GVC pilot working Commercially & for Local SAR. Some of the incredible projects I’ve been involved in. Part of the team and Vision Mixer for the only UK Horizonal Space Rocket Launch from Cornwall, mixing the in studio program and live cameras and incorporating feeds, live from the plane and rocket as it made it (almost) way to space. Jersey Island Games 2015 – Streaming Architect / Engineer – We streamed the Mini Olympics on the island of Jersey, from their playing grounds, across an island-wide fibre network that was both pulling in the remote content as well as broadcasting it to big LED screens across the island, Local TV stations & internet. Live link up with the International Space Station from Excel during New Scientist Live from the main stage. Streamed around the exhibition centre, multiple websites, and social media including Facebook, BT, and the European Space Agency to over viewers. vMix operator/builder since 2014 Streaming across satellite systems like Newspotter, LiveU and sending the stream across multi connections - wireless, 3G/4G mobile networks or Peplink routers with SpeedFusion. Since March 2020, delivered complete virtual events with a mix of live content, multi speakers in panels, presentations with remote controlled PowerPoint slides, live polling, streaming into various platforms. Other highlights: Resolume and Pandoras Box operator James Bond Film “The Living Daylights” in Gibraltar - Runner - parachute stunt team. Worked in both forces radio (Gibraltar) & commercial radio (Plymouth). Recorded, produced, mixed & keyboard player for 800 plus works of TV theme music for mainstream & satellite channels. Front of House Cameraman for various pop concerts/festivals with artists like Tom Jones, JLS, Olly Murs, Holly Johnson, 5Star, Jess Glynne, All Saints, New Order, RazorLight, Daddy Yankee (UK tour) IT Manager for a national musical instrument retailer & educational specialist, developed the IT & Web systems from nothing (paper based) in early 90’s to a fully data driven internet/web solution. Developer in Python, Flash AS3, VB script, html, CSS, JavaScript, MS Access, MS SQL Databases, Adobe (Director, Lingo).
