About Alex Callaghan

Contract administrator with many years experience in the field as both a CA and a site inspector. I’ve worked in land development, on some small facilities projects, many years with open cut linear infrastructure across the GTA and in the City of Toronto, built storm ponds, culverts, etc in Halton and Peel Region. Working for consultants, I’ve dealt with coordination on site with clients, stakeholders and contractors on a regular basis and performed many site inspection tasks such as daily reporting, materials recording, quantity tracking and estimating. As a contract administrator I’ve set up and ran project meetings, reviewed shop drawings, responded to RFIs and drafted RFQs, change orders, change directives, payment certificates and have a strong knowledge of good construction practises and health and safety. I am also trained and up to date for typical H&S for most site work including CPR/ First Aid, Working at Heights, confined space entry, and WHMIS certified. I have worked on projects ranging from to $26 million across the GTA. I also have some small experience with inspection work on micro-tunnelling and CIPP.
