About Alex Cavanagh

As a recent psychology graduate from Queen Mary University, I am passionate about pursuing a career in a clinical setting. I have gained valuable knowledge and skills in mental health, cognitive, psychobiology, and social psychology through my academic coursework and research projects. I have also acquired hands-on experience in working with adults with Autism and ADHD as an Honorary Assistant Psychologist at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. There, I supported the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of clients, as well as facilitated group sessions and workshops. Additionally, I have developed my communication, organization, and critical thinking skills through my role as a Trainee Behavioural Therapist at the Power to Live Foundation. I currently deliver Functional Analytic Psychotherapy to clients in a 1-on-1 setting.
