About Alex Cirocco

In addition to my resume, please see below for a summary of my experience and skills sets as a Manager and Technical advisor: During my 37yrs in IT, I have mastered all the technologies that evolved over time through education, certification, and experience at all levels. Within the past year, I managed and technically onboarded BNYM, EY, and Virtual Clarity consultants in an effort to build new groups within BNYM’s Greenfield Production Transformation department. Many groups were formed as mentioned within my resume and under my direction to facilitate the embracing of new standards and technologies for our many lines of businesses and external clients onboarding to our new Greenfield platform. From architecting our new spine-leaf infrastructure, Neighborhoods, POD designs, to working with our technology areas and solutions for Oracle, Exadata, SQL AO, SAN, NAS, PURS S3, PaaS, IaaS, DBaaS, BaaS, VM, bare-metal spaces as well. Using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Migration Director, SharePoint and many other social networking tools facilitated our efforts as well. In parallel I was responsible to Sr. Mgmt for the migrations and reporting of of applications through the defined processes and managing the architectural aspects of our newly defined standards that I/We established together during extremely dynamic times within BYNM.
