About Alex Clemens

My ideal position is one where I can continue to grow and hone my variety of skills as I love learning new things. I make it a point to ask questions whenever information is unclear but also take the initiative to seek out potential answers and solutions before bringing issues to the table. Having worked at a large university as well as a small startup, I can appreciate and comfortably navigate a spectrum of organizational sizes. I have found it very rewarding to work at institutions that promote curiosity and push the bounds of human knowledge and creativity. However, what has been most gratifying in any role I have served in have been the human connections that I make on a day-to-day basis. Because of this, I have found that cultivating a functional, productive, and enjoyable environment for my co-workers is my greatest motivation; I always aim to do this in a way that takes individual needs into account but is also respectful of the available time and resources at hand.
