Green Doctors a team of energy experts who provide support and guidance to residents in London on their water and energy bills. They help them apply for grants to get measures such as a new boiler or a fridge / freezer. With every interaction, they are making someone’s life better and are the reason many residents can sleep without getting stressed over high bills. When I joined the Green Doctor team nearly 3 years ago, they were disjoined, had no semblances of team work and were not hitting their targets following processes changes during lockdown. I was given freedom to find a way to bring them together and I made it a personal goal to make them the best team in the country. I achieved this goal by firstly process mapping a number of processes to identify where some of the issues were. Using my own experience in project management and line management, I created a number of reports where I could track the team performance and took on board feedback / suggestions from the team on how they would want processes to be done quicker and easier. I introduced new ideas such as a customer satisfaction survey that I use to promote the gain new contracts with local authorities and councils as well a call recording system so I can monitor their calls. Targets are achieved consistently and feedback from residents is always 5/5. I am looking for a role where I can replicate the successes I have had here, as well as to take on new challenges.
