About Alex Coleman

I am an Engineering Physics student at the Colorado School of Mines with diverse experiences ranging from research to hands-on software and hardware development. This year, I have had the privilege of contributing to the MURF Silicon Clathrates research project for applications to solar cells. This opportunity has deepened my understanding of applied physics and its role in advancing renewable energy technologies. Additionally, in my mechanical engineering design class, I worked on two collaborative projects: designing a controller for construction equipment and developing a safety system for autonomous vehicles. These experiences have been instrumental in advancing my problem-solving abilities, public presentation skills, and scientific communication.
