I have worked in retail for over 14 years and management for 12. I have been fortunate enough to have worked for some of the most iconic surf and skateboarding retailing brands in both Australia and New Zealand.In New Zealand from 2007-2012 I worked for North Beach, the biggest surf and skate retail company in New Zealand in which I was based in Hamilton. In 2012 I moved to Canberra, Australia where I was given the opportunity to work for Surf Dive n Ski, the largest and most iconic surf retail brand in Australia and the longest running surf retailer in the world. From my time at Surf Dive n Ski I have been able to express myself to influence not only customers on a day to day basis, but was also able to use my skills to influence and motivate my team. I have Managed in 4 stores in my time at Surf Dive n Ski across Canberra and Gold Coast, with the most recent role being Buisness manager for the National flagship store at the iconic Pacifc Fair shopping centre on the Gold Coast.In this time I have managed all of these stores to become some of the most successful stores within the company and I pride myself and more importantly my team in customer service excellence. At the end of 2018 I was given another opportunity’s to work for another leading retailer in its field in General Pants, at my time here I have continued to progress my skills in retail and management.Being a leader and a coach over these years to my teams has been some of the most memorable and most fulfilling moments of my life that I am so privileged to have had.
