About Alex Dewerth

At 16 I acquired my first job in the restaurant industry as a cashier at a fast food restaurant. Having no paid work experience before, I felt that it was a good way to develop and hone my ability to work together as a team, while still relying solely on yourself as an individual. On and off I always came across cooking jobs, serving jobs, bartending, etc. I finally was able to put my knowledge to use when I began working for Toast, as so much of it helped apply to my position in the company. I have been using my tools and skills in hardware knowledge, restaurant experience, and empathetic personality to provide refreshing and pleasant experiences for all the customers that seek assistance from Toast. In the month of March alone I had the best overall recorded metrics for 2 straight weeks, netting 15x more 5.0 ratings than other agents in all of Toast. I strive to succeed and provide my colleagues with a strong sense of teamwork, and always look for new ways to help anyone that asks.
