About Alex Dowding

With almost 20 years of experience in the animation industry, I am a passionate and creative producer who loves bringing stories to life from inception of story through to delivery. I currently work at Submarine, a leading animation studio in Amsterdam that produces high-quality feature films and series for global platforms. At Submarine, I am responsible for developing original IP, raising finance and overseeing the production of multiple projects. Past projects include Apollo 10 1/2", a hybrid animation film directed by Richard Linklater for Netflix, and "Undone", a rotoscope animation series created by Hisko Hulsing for Amazon Prime.I manage the budget, schedule, and delivery of these projects, as well as coordinate the work of talented artists, animators, and editors. I also collaborate with the directors, writers, and clients to ensure the creative vision and quality standards are met.
