Prior to joining Meta, Alex held senior roles at Freddie Mac, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst & Young, Bank of America, and Arthur Andersen, where he led teams across the three lines of defense (business, risk management, and audit functions). Recognized as a pioneer in building the "Internal Audit of the Future," Alex has developed global AI auditing standards and frameworks through partnerships with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). As a renowned expert in AI-driven audit innovation, he is a sought-after speaker on leveraging AI to transform audit execution and effectively audit AI. Alex studied Data Science at Harvard University, earned an MS in Computer Information Systems from Bowling Green State University, and holds a BA in Economics from the University of California. Outside of work, Alex enjoys staying active and spending time with his family and friends. He is also passionate about coaching youth sports, particularly basketball and lacrosse, and giving back to his community through various charitable causes that promote education and economic development.
