I Earned a Master of Public Health Degree with a concentration in Epidemiology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. For my thesis I examined community-level factors associated with diabetes mortality rate(s) across Chicago’s 77 community areas. My expertise lies in conducting statistical analyses, manipulating complex data, and applying model selection techniques to identify meaningful patterns. I am experienced in utilizing tools such as Stata, Excel, and SAS to process and analyze public health data effectively. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a diverse skill set, including proficiency in languages such as Spanish (bilingual). I possess exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling me to effectively communicate, collaborate, and build relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I am known for my cultural competence, empathy, conflict resolution abilities, and strong time management and leadership skills.
