About Alex Haley

I am a senior in the School of Arts and Sciences at Rutgers University—New Brunswick. At the end of the 2023-24 academic year, I will be graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication, public relations, and sport management - three areas I am extremely passionate about. I am gaining a plethora of practical experience in the sports communication field through my position as an Athletic Communications Executive Intern at Rutgers Athletics. Through this role, I have gained valuable hands-on experience in writing, social media management, media relations, and executing strategic communication plans. In addition to my role at Rutgers Athletics, I have also spent time as a Digital and Social Content Intern with the New York Red Bulls. Working closely with the digital and social content team, I contribute to the development and execution of the organization’s social media and digital strategy. Beyond my internships, I am an active member of the Rutgers Panhellenic community. I am a member of the Lambda Delta chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta, previously serving as the Vice President of Administration and now as the Director of Activities. Through my positions, I have collaborated with a team of 12 fellow officers to successfully guide a chapter of 100+ to success on campus. I am always open to networking with like-minded professionals in the sports industry.
