About Alex Hoffman

I empower individuals to find their true potential and work together as a team. Whether I'm teaching a group of 12-year-olds in an English class, managing a team of employees, or coaching a swim team, I employ the same leadership skills to help me understand who I'm leading and how to best guide them towards our common objective.I learned a passion for leadership early in life. First, as an older sibling, and later as a captain of my swim team. While studying education in college, I learned a multitude of leadership and management skills, and I practiced those skills both as an educator at Basis Phoenix and as a leader at Life Time Fitness. Now, I seek an opportunity to both utilize and develop my leadership skills further. I enjoy the puzzle of understanding unique individuals in order to help them become best versions of themselves. My joy in leadership, so far, has been coaching my subordinate team members and empowering them to be leaders in their own capacity. When I'm not rallying my team, I can be found reading leadership books, listening to history podcasts, or playing with my dog, or working out with my husband.
