My current thoughts on research are that the answers or results we seek are in the spectrum of grey that is made up of black and white parts. These parts are the foundational facts, the 1's and 0's, the things we can physically observe without assumptions. The results we find are based on those foundations and are something we must seek without adding biases or assumptions. This is exactly how I want to approach my research, by studying the building blocks of cellular and molecular functions in the body. Whether it be cancer research, regenerative medicine, or other novel fields of research, these are the steps to seek solutions to currently incurable diseases.
