I have over 4.5 years of experience in the environmental and biodiversity management sector working as a Biodiversity Advisor in Wellington, New Zealand. My skills and experience includes- Planning, coordinating and overseeing the delivery of environmental management activities in line with set deadlines and allocated budgets - Excellent report writing skills, including developing operational management plans for a variety of ecosystem types and providing environmental management advice- Liaising with and managing working relationships with clients and various stakeholders including territorial authorities, consultants, internal departments, contractors and local iwi - Fieldwork experience undertaking fauna and vegetation surveys and initial scoping assessments for funding allocation - Proficient with ArcGIS products, having managed the GIS species databases for the biodiversity work programmes in my previous role. I also have experience undertaking aerial drone surveys and drone image analysis.
