About Alex Ingram

Sport has always been a huge part of my life—playing anything I could growing up and still competing in rugby every weekend. My secondary school PE teacher inspired me to pursue a career where I could do the same: guiding the next generation to find confidence and joy through sport. I’m currently a PE teacher at Arnold House School, where I’ve been shaping young minds since 2020. Alongside my teaching role, I serve as a Year 8 form tutor, helping students transition to senior school, and I manage the school games field, overseeing daily operations and external hirers. Previously, I spent three years at Bishops Stortford College in various roles, from sports coach to PE teacher, while earning my PGCE at the University of Buckingham. I also worked in both the prep and senior boarding houses during my time there. I hold a BA Hons in Sports Development from Leeds Beckett University. Sport has given me lifelong friendships, unforgettable experiences, and invaluable life lessons—ones I hope to pass on to every student I teach.
