Alex is a Manchester based radio presenter and broadcaster, voice-over, event host and public speaker. With over a decade of presenting skills and a passion for new, and popular music, Alex has worked for some of the UK's biggest commercial radio groups and is a regular contributor for the BBC. Broadcasting. Alex currently hosts the hugely popular XS Manchester Breakfast Show and, over 15 years, has presented radio shows for some of the UK's biggest networks. His time on air has included interviews with some of the world's biggest music stars - from Rihanna and Katy Perry through to One Direction & Green Day. He has presented world-exclusive content including unique access to artists including Coldplay, Adele, Lady GaGa and Pink. Alex is currently the lead male Voice Over on the BBC Local Radio Network across England.beyond Broadcasting Alex is a Visiting Lecturer at The University of Chester teaching Media & Broadcast students and also works with a range of high-profile business clients to develop personal & business public speaking skills. He has hosted many public and corporate events including the Manchester Christmas Light Switch On, Manchester Day Parade and countless major music events. Alex graduated from The University of Manchester in 2002 with BA (Hons) Combined English & History and is now qualified as a Professional Celebrant as a member of the UK Society of Celebrants.
