About Alex Kientz
I left the United States Marine Corps in 2012 after spending nine years as a loadmaster on a KC-130. After my service ended, I pursued my B.S. in economics at Texas Christian University. When I earned my undergraduate, I was recruited by Southwest Airlines to be a frontline Leader in 2015. Recognizing that my heart wasn't working in the operation at an airport, I decided to throw my hat into passenger revenue management at SWA. Through a series of events, COVID, and chasing bigger opportunities, I now find myself in the role as a Standards Consultants in our Ground Operations department utilizing technical skillsets acquired over the years. Born of necessity during COVID, I found my prowess grow with data mining, Alteryx, Tableau, and domain knowledge.
