Background

About Alex Lohrisch

I graduated from Civil Engineering in July 2009. While at university I worked in design firms on a full time/part time basis. I enjoyed design and decided to maintain this discipline to get the most out of university. After finishing study I wanted to broaden my experience and worked in infrastructure maintenance at a coal terminal before joining construction with Lendlease. This company gave me the opportunity to lead the team on many fronts. However to broaden my experience further, I accepted a position for a company that focuses on design and construction projects for Council, heavy industry and mining to put my design, construction and project management skill sets together. Having reached my goal of gaining Engineers Australia Chartered Status and RPEQ certification, I now focus on developing in other ways particularly working in a team environment. I aim to be an expert in leadership with an extensive technical, design and practical background that can support the team to achieve our common goal. In the long term I would like make a difference to the community by being a decision maker either in Private or Government.
