About Alex Missick

Layers fascinate me. My childhood hobbies and evolving curiosities have shaped my career experiences and have grown with me since I was in junior high. I loved creating and sketching out brand collateral for the new nicknames my friends wanted. Personas had to match the image they tried to portray and I loved watching it all come to life. I'm glad that I have been able to take that passion for wanting to know and do more into developing my career.I began my career as a Journalist at 14, writing hard and feature news stories. I led the features section into providing more locally impactful stories, leveraging the home-grown talent and issues that may have otherwise been overlooked. From there, I sought out more digital communications roles that would reflect more immediacy and real-time impacts and feedback from communities. In my free time, I create beauty, fashion and lifestyle content on my YouTube channel, gaining over subscribers. I write and film product reviews as well as share seasonal styling and beauty trends weekly.
