About Alex Nazareth

I love to learn as much as I can about new areas and interesting approaches to problem solving. My passion for coding and data science stems from that desire to answer questions and seek out clean and efficient solutions. For all the roadblocks and challenges that arise in a project, making a breakthrough, however small, can make it all worthwhile! Having said that, I have also learned that it is a very important skill to recognize when an approach is not working, and the time has come to cut loose and move on in the name of efficiency.I have 6+ years of hands-on experience in technical roles, as well as having written and defended my MSc thesis "Community Analysis of Networks of Twitter Keywords". This involved gathering over Twitter posts and implementing NLP techniques to create and analyze networks of keywords. This breadth of experience gives me a strong understanding of various ML techniques that I look forward to building on in future roles.
